Wow...serendipity. I was flipping through next week's TV Guide and noticed that Vision TV (a Canadian religious station) is showing "Bunny Lake is Missing" next week (scroll down to Thursday May 6th). Must tape that to see what all the fuss is about!

I'm particularly fond of the opening credits of Pasolini's Uccellacci e uccellini. They're sung (in Italian) with music by Ennio Morricone. Well worth seeking out. List of albums on which the track can be found.

So that Skidoo poster of the woman's torso looked really familiar. Then I realized that the Push Kings probably ripped it off for the cover of their last album. Check it.

But then I realized that might not be it, because they're not exactly similar. My brain was like "Nevermind dude, its that Dimitri From Paris album you have." Check it.

That wasn't it either. I think Skidoo isn't consciously ripped off for anything.
Interesting how many album covers are just women's torsos. So I think i'm going to hunt around and see how many album covers with just torsos I can find. THEN I'll write a big ol graduate thesis about how the sexist media has made no progress since the fertility dolls of the ancient world. Hoooo. I really am going to dig more up covers like that though.

Wangs up,
- Zach

"You need to post all this crap and your campbells stuff in the comments.
