wow, what an amazing site. both visually and in it’s indepth nature. i know the ripley’s museums carry alot of mosaic -ish items. i know we had a fella here in louisville for a while that had a habit of putting his families baby teeth into his work. also te beehive collective in maine has been doing a lot of mosaic work lately. thanks agains for all the avenues of inspiration.

I don’t know if I have ever *formally* told you how stunning I think that mosaic is. You truly made something beautiful (but then, I guess that’s your style)! That took a lot of patience and hard work, and I can’t believe you completed so quickly–I remember us talking, and you estimating that it would be like 10 years before it was finished. You’re a hard-working man!

That is some amazing work! There was a guy at my high school who was obsessed with Chuck Close’s work but he never did anything to the extend of your piece. Simply beautiful and great job!

I think that the first “less pure” toast mosaic is actually better than the others because of the half-toasted pieces of bread. To me, that’s just an extra level of insanity/dedication.
