		<description>There are less conspiracy theory-oriented explanations for the discrepancy between the exit polls and the actual vote count. Exit polls aren&#039;t perfect. Not everyone answers, and people may be more likely to answer if the questioner is the same gender as them or something like that. So for instance if the polling people happened to be more likely to be women, you might have seen more women responding and so the Democrats would look better than they actually were. Or maybe Democrats are just more likely to respond to exit polls.</description>
